Job Title: RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7P-7:30A / 7A-7:30P Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of ER experience License: Active TX RN License (Temporary License not accepted) Certifications: PALS or ENPC, ACLS, BLS, TNCC, NIHSS Must-Have: Must have a minimum of 2 years of ER experience. Must have PALS or ENPC certification. Must have ACLS certification. Must have BLS certification. Must have TNCC certification. Must have NIHSS certification. Description: We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills. Candidates must be willing to float as needed. Experience with the Meditech documentation system is preferred. The unit performs a variety of procedures including conscious sedation, intubations, and management of behavioral health concerns. Nurses participate in the administration of treatments for sepsis and strokes, and respond to heart alerts. Dress code includes navy scrubs, with white, navy, or black undershirts and jackets. Nail policy specifies no acrylic nails, no longer than one inch, and clean, unchipped nail polish. Hair should be off the shoulders in a natural color. All body art should be covered whenever possible; non-coverable art will be addressed individually. Visible piercings other than earrings are prohibited.
