Senior Project Manager - Aviation

Location: Memphis, TN Job Id: 65991 # of Openings: 1 Salary: Based on experience and will be discussed with manager in interview Overview Accura Engineering is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Aviation program in Nashville, TN. The primary duties will include planning, directing, and monitoring all aspects of multi‑discipline airport projects with high degrees of technical complexity and managing project staff. Responsibilities Lead the successful development and implementation of multiple concurrent airside and landside capital projects at international airport facilities as part of the construction and program management team. Work with consultants, airport staff, and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met for each assigned project. Manage staffing and workload through project development, completing projects on time and within budget. Review plans, develop cost estimates and projections for assigned projects, schedule and conduct design progress meetings, and prepare records required for federal or state reimbursement. Ensure that construction contracts comply with applicable federal and state equal opportunity legislation. Coordinate activities with outside agencies to assure timely completion of all projects and compile and analyze technical data, preparing reports concerning project related activities. Oversee Quality Assurance Review, implement QA/QC procedures, and execute training for personnel. Monitor safety compliance and contractor safety oversight. Oversee project closeout administration. Supervise project staff and act as a mentor for less experienced staff members. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering PE license required PMP certification preferred Minimum 10-15 years of aviation-related engineering or construction management experience, including planning services related to airport master planning and project management experience. Experience designing and managing aviation projects and developing plans, specifications, and estimates for airport agencies and private clients. Experience with FAA design standards, procedures, and policies. AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation (HC1), MS Office, and MS Project experience preferred. Demonstrated business development and strategic planning skills desired. Strong communication, leadership, planning, and mentoring skills required. Knowledge of the aviation market in Nashville, including client relationships and past project experience preferred. Commitment to being an active participant of our employee‑owned culture required.
