Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced OR RN to provide surgical nursing care within a busy hospital environment. The ideal candidate will ensure patient safety and support surgical teams during procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and provide preoperative and postoperative patient care.
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during operating room procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes during surgery.
• Ensure infection control protocols and safety standards are maintained.
• Document patient information and surgical procedures accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient care.

Qualifications:

• Possess an active RN license in the relevant state.
• Hold BLS certification and at least 1 year of OR nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
• Capable of working 4x10 hour day shifts with rotating on-call duties.
• Successfully complete background and reference checks.
• Be flexible to work within a 50-mile radius of the facility location.
