Vice President of Security

Leading the charge in security strategy and operations, the full-time salaried Vice President of Security will establish and manage AI security functions, oversee security engineering teams, and enhance enterprise trust while ensuring compliance and operational integrity in a dynamic environment. Key responsibilities Establish and lead the AI security function, implementing a controlled internal AI gateway and enhancing consumer-facing AI security measures Direct security engineering efforts, including AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, while driving the roadmap for secure design and automated response mechanisms Manage enterprise trust initiatives, ensuring security diligence for fundraising and customer reviews, while maintaining compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards Required qualifications 12+ years of experience in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth and fundraising processes Strong technical expertise in cloud-native security, including AWS identity and modern AppSec tooling Proven ability to build new security functions from the ground up, demonstrating a track record of team development and control implementation Executive presence with experience in engaging with boards and enterprise customers on security matters Current knowledge and conviction regarding AI security challenges and solutions, including prompt injection and agent access management
