Job Description

• Perform thorough patient assessments, encompassing physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Assist in the diagnosis and evaluation of surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work hand in hand with surgeons to devise and implement tailored surgical treatment strategies
• Support intraoperative activities by prepping environments, ensuring safe patient positioning, and efficiently passing surgical instruments
• Provide outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including medication management, wound care, discharge coordination, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preference will be given to candidates who have completed clinical rotations in surgical settings

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C credential
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
