SMK Logistics is a Delivery Service Partner (DSP) based in California. We're currently hiring Delivery Helper to support our drivers during deliveries. We're looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and safety-focused individuals who enjoy staying active and working as part of a team.

Position Highlights:

• Anticipated schedule: part-time 3 days per week, 8-10 hours per day including at least one weekend day
• Extra shifts may be available, but not guaranteed
• Opportunity for full-time permanent employment: Drivers may be considered for long-term roles based on performance and business needs (review required)

What You'll Do:

• Assist drivers with delivering 400 - 600 packages per day to homes, apartments, and businesses
• Load and unload packages from delivery vans
• Repeatedly load and unload packages up to 50 lbs
• Often tilt, push, and slide packages weighing between 50-70 lbs. on and off a hand truck with team assistance
• Ride along with drivers and support efficient route completion
• Work in all weather conditions: rain, heat, cold, etc.
• Maintain high standards for attendance, performance, and safety
• Support teammates as needed during daily operations
• Communicate effectively with drivers and support team to provide excellent customer service

Before your first shift, you'll complete Amazon training and onboarding with our team.

Qualifications

What You Need:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to undergo a pre-employment drug screening and successfully complete training
• Prior warehouse, delivery, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
