Data AnalystApex Systems is teaming with one of our banking clients in the search for a Data Analyst. This begins as a 6 month contract, where you would be working 100% remote!The candidate would be responsible for the design, development and administration of transactional and analytical data constructs/structures.Contract Length: 6 monthsLocation: Richmond, VA 100% Remote for the first six months! May be required to come into office if contract is extended or converted.LOB: Global FinanceIncluded within those responsibilities are the areas of data access and delivery technologies.Includes expertise in data quality, data organization, metadata, and data profiling.Data set sizes are usually quite large (in excess of hundreds of millions of records).Demonstrated ability to move from one sequential assignment to the next (work environment and priorities can change quickly depending on business needs).Demonstrated ability to move data between production systems and across multiple platformsWorks with general supervision and follows established proceduresExperience with major querying tools - SQL Server, Snowflake.Ability to deliver technical reports in written and oral form to team leadOnestream XF desiredAbility to deliver highly technical information to a broader audience beyond the team leadCommon skill sets -Snowflake/Teradata/any SQL toolUNIX 5+ yrsPython 3+ ExperienceRequired Skills: 5 years of SQL and python, code migration from snowflake to python Basic Qualification: Additional Skills: Remote flex 100% duration, after 6 months, could extend and might be required to come in person Software Technology Inc
