Service Technician & Diesel Mechanic - Crane, Truck & Heavy EquipmentALL Sunshine Crane Rental Corp. seeking a Crane, Truck and Heavy Equipment Service Technician & Diesel Mechanic. Hands-on experience with cranes and lift equipment or heavy duty trucks is a big plus. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with comprehensive benefits package. This position is eligible for a $300.00 sign-on bonus after 100 days of continuous employment.Essential FunctionsResponsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on all makes of cranes, heavy duty trucks and other equipmentDiagnose, repair, adjust, and modify components as neededReads, understands and interprets operating manuals, parts manuals, and technical drawingsPositive interface with service writers, supervisor, parts department and customersPrepare proper documentation of actions takenAble to work with diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting and repairsMaintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulationsSkills and Experience RequirementsStrong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervisionMust have a strong diesel engine, hydraulic and electrical backgroundMust have basic set of mechanic's hand toolsAbility to work safely around moving machinery; to work in conditions with marked changes in temperature & humidityPrevious experience with Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks is a plusA CDL is desirable but not requiredAble to lift 50 poundsManufacturer's training will be an integral part of this position.
