Responsibilities Of An RN Unit Manager Assisting the Director of Nursing (DON) in managing daily nursing operations Acting as a main point of contact between residents and their families Addressing and preventing concerns from family members Assisting with staffing management through training & mentoring Qualifications For An RN Unit Manager Associate's degree or above in Nursing (ASN) or Practical Nursing Diploma required. Clear and active Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN Licensure in the state of practice required. One (1+) years nursing experience required with prior Sub-Acute Care or Long-Term Care nursing experience preferred.
