Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 24 months of Labor and Delivery experience required License: Active Iowa or compact/multistate nursing license required Certifications: BLS NRP Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Intermediate or Advanced Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification STABLE certification Must-Have: Experience in medication administration for glucose, magnesium, Pitocin, and insulin Experience in nursery/mother-baby care preferred Postpartum experience nice to have NICU experience preferred Current reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the last 24 months Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Labor and Delivery specialty. The position involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the maternity unit. Nurses will be responsible for monitoring labor and delivery processes for mothers and newborns. The role includes medication administration for various conditions, including glucose and magnesium. Candidates must possess experience with Electronic Fetal Monitoring and have the appropriate certifications. Weekend shifts will be required every third weekend.
