SUMMARY
Operate lines in a safe and efficient manner.
Ensure that ALL safety equipment is installed on machines prior to start-up.
Communicate to Maintenance Supervisor when any problems arise that require maintenance.
Assist Supervisors and Managers where needed.
Ensure all health and safety guidelines are followed.

• Startup and operation of packaging lines and related equipment
• Perform quality checks on tubes, buckets, drums and other containers to ensure quality of product
• Monitor quality of packaged goods during and after product transfer to package
• Report any unsafe condition immediately to Supervisor
• Report any unsafe acts by anyone to Supervisor
• Stay with any equipment that is "running"
• Maintain a clean and organized work space
• Cross-train on all machines to learn how each one operates
• Identify any areas where you feel cost savings may be attained
• Any other duties assigned by management

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 + Operator experience
• Able to lift 55lbs or more
• Mechanically inclined Problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with others
