Host Blue Hill at Stone Barns is a farm-to‑table dining experience and leader in sustainable food movement, led by Chef Dan Barber and partners David and Laureen Barber. Our restaurant shares a campus with the Stone Barns Center, an 80‑acre research farm in Pocantico Hills, just outside Manhattan. Job Description Blue Hill at Stone Barns is seeking a dynamic and detail‑oriented Host to support guest relations. You will orchestrate a smooth guest experience from first contact to departure, ensuring personalized attention and sharing insights into our farm‑to‑table ethos and the link between regenerative farming and better food. Responsibilities Managing reservations, adjusting to accommodate guest preferences and special requests. Handling guest correspondence, responding to general visitor inquiries over the phone, email, and in person. Coordinating and integrating distinct elements of the guest experience, such as tours. Greeting guests upon arrival and providing attention and assistance throughout their visit up until departure. Collaborating closely with our culinary and service teams to ensure seamless guest experience at every touchpoint. Providing general administrative support. Ensuring Blue Hill’s standards of service are met and exceeded leading up to, during, and after all guest interactions. Performing all other job‑related duties as needed and assigned. Qualifications Hospitable: embody authenticity and approachability, coupled with a sincere dedication to serving guests. Curious: have a keen interest in the intersection of regenerative farming, culinary arts, and food culture, and be eager to share knowledge with guests. Creative: be highly resourceful, anticipating problems before they arise and resolving problems swiftly and strategically when they do. Languages: proficiency in multiple languages is a plus. Experience: minimum of 1 year in guest relations is required. Details Compensation: $18 – $20 per hour, hourly basis. Benefits: medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), and paid time off. Location & Hours: Full‑time in‑person position at Blue Hill at Stone Barns in Pocantico Hills, NY (≈1 hr drive from NYC). Shifts involve evenings and weekends.
