Senior Electrical EstimatorWell-established electrical contractor with a strong pipeline of commercial, industrial, and public-sector work across New York in need of an experienced estimator who can own the process from takeoff to bid day. Successful candidate will work closely with project managers, field leadership, and ownership to price complex projects accurately and competitively. If you thrive under bid-day pressure, take pride in a clean and defensible number, and want to be part of a company that respects the craft of estimating — this role is designed for you.Responsibilities:Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop complete and competitive electrical estimatesPerform detailed quantity takeoffs for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted scopeSolicit, review, and level vendor and subcontractor quotesPrepare formal bid proposals, budgets, and cost analysesIdentify scope gaps, project risks, and value engineering opportunitiesAttend pre-bid meetings, job walks, and site visitsCoordinate with project managers during project turnover to ensure estimate integrityMaintain organized bid files, pricing records, and document archivesAssist with change order pricing and ongoing cost analysis during constructionMonitor labor and material market trends to keep pricing currentManage multiple concurrent bids while meeting all submission deadlinesQualifications:10+ years of hands-on electrical estimating experienceDeep knowledge of electrical construction methods, systems, and materialsStrong ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contract documentsProject experience across commercial, industrial, municipal, educational, healthcare, or multifamily sectorsProficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office SuiteFamiliarity with NEC standards and applicable New York codesExceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to hit deadlinesExperience with AccuBid, McCormick, Bluebeam, or similar estimating platformsField experience in electrical construction — you understand what it takes to build itSalary: $150-175K
