Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC

• Experience in outpatient, long term care, home health, and inpatient settings
• Ability to perform or monitor treatments using whirlpool baths, electrical muscle stimulation, and ultrasound
• Experience conducting PTA and Home Health Aide supervisory visits, as applicable
• Ability to supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Home Health Aides in accordance with applicable laws and policy, as applicable

• 8-hour shifts
• Tuesday - Saturday

Location Highlights

Hot Springs, South Dakota offers access to outdoor recreation and regional landmarks in the southern Black Hills. Wind Cave National Park is about 15 miles away and Custer State Park is roughly 20 miles from the city, providing hiking, wildlife viewing, and scenic drives. The Mammoth Site is located in Hot Springs and Evans Plunge Mineral Springs sits in the downtown area, giving travelers access to a paleontological attraction and a historic indoor water destination. Hot Springs is about 60 miles from Rapid City and near the Black Hills National Forest, which supports a quieter setting with convenient regional road access.
