Boutique CPA Firm | Southwest Suburbs

A well-established boutique CPA firm located in the southwest suburbs is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical tax knowledge, excellent client-service skills, and experience managing a variety of tax engagements.

Responsibilities

Manage and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and other business entities
Oversee tax engagements from planning through completion
Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients
Research and resolve complex tax issues
Develop and maintain strong client relationships
Review work prepared by staff and senior-level team members
Assist with training and mentoring junior professionals
Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters and recommendations
Manage engagement deadlines and workflow

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
6+ years of public accounting experience preferred
Strong technical knowledge of federal and state taxation
Real estate partnership tax experience strongly preferred
CPA preferred
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple client engagements and deadlines effectively
