Are you a driven, dedicated Interior Designer passionate about interior design who enjoys putting your creativity to work for customers and exceeds customers’ expectations?
We are looking for a creative and experienced Interior Designer to undertake a variety of residential projects from concept to completion.
Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to determine objectives and requirements for the project
- Determine the client’s goals and requirements for the project
- Undertake design projects from concept to completion
- Give preliminary estimates, costs and drawings on projects
- Prepare detailed project specifications
- Prepare scaled drawings, using computer software
- Prepare contract for project
- Prepare final drawings, pricing, bidding and selections
- Research and decide on materials and product sourcing
- Place orders for materials and oversee the installation of the design elements
- Visit worksites to ensure that construction adheres to architectural plans
- Visit the site after the project is complete to ensure that the client is satisfied
Requirements
- Degree in Interior Design
- 5+ years of proven working experience in designing residential projects
- Expertise in layout, color, lighting, materials selection, and all installations
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Chief Architect, and/or similar design software
- Excellent portfolio of previous works
- Proficient time management to facilitate working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Organized, detail-oriented, deadline-driven, fast-paced team player
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong technical and practical CAD skills with an understanding of architectural conventions, including floor plans, sections, millwork, mechanicals, and furnishings
Job Types: Full-time (Flexibility May Be Optional)
Pay: $50,123.00 - $75,456.00 per year
