Description: The role involves working within an Interventional Radiology department with 8 specific rooms. There are an average of 45-50 cases per day. The position accepts first-time travelers. Common patient types include those related to strokes, cancer, and various occlusions. Neuro patients may include stroke cases, ruptures, and subdural fistulas. Body patients will typically present with traumas, complex embolizations, thrombectomies, thrombolysis, sclerotherapy, Y-90, Sir spheres, biopsies, and various drainage and access procedures. The department consists of 7 providers and 4 advanced practice providers. Support is provided by tech extenders, which assist with room turnover, paperwork, transport, and inventory. Two techs will be assigned per room alongside an RN. Call requirements include 3-4 call days per month and weekend call every 5th or 6th weekend. Holidays require 75% availability if scheduled. Shifts can be structured as three 12-hour shifts, four 10-hour shifts, or five 8-hour shifts. Scrub color will be provided by the facility.
