Job DetailsPosition PurposeProvides courteous customer service and maintain merchandise displays to enhance overall customer satisfaction, sales, profitability, and store standards. In applicable instances, unloads trucks, processes freight, stocks counters, and performs any other function needed to maintain the salesfloor.Job ScopeThis position has no direct supervisory or budgetary accountability.Essential FunctionsProvide positive customer service by treating customers in a courteous and knowledgeable manner in order to maximize customer satisfaction and sales.Price, stock and maintain merchandise in a neat and orderly manner.Process sales transactions in an accurate, efficient, and friendly manner.Adhere to assigned work schedule in order to provide predictability in workload scheduling.Follow all Company policies and procedures in order to maximize customer service, sales, and store profitability.In applicable instances, unloads trucks, processes freight, stocks counters, and any other function needed to maintain salesfloor.Ancillary FunctionsProvide support to store management as requested.Qualifications and Skills RequiredFundamental reading and math skillsAbility to effectively communicate in EnglishWorking ConditionsRetail store environment where extended periods of standing are requiredRetail store stockroom environment subject to fluctuations in temperatureFrequent lifting and maneuvering of merchandise and displaysExposure to dust and extreme temperatures while unloading trailersScheduled work hours may vary, to include evenings and weekendsOccasional use of ladders requiredEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
