An opportunity is available for an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to support a healthcare facility in McPherson, Kansas, on a 13-week assignment. This role requires a dedicated professional skilled in IV compounding and medication preparation within an inpatient pharmacy setting. Candidates should be adaptable to a contract traveler position and ready to contribute to a dynamic healthcare team.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday
• 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• 1st Shift

Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and providing pharmaceutical services to clinical staff
• Prepare sterile IV admixtures, ensuring accuracy and safety
• Receive, inspect, and properly store medication and supply deliveries
• Process prescriptions and medication orders in compliance with facility protocols
• Utilize Meditech software for medication management (experience preferred)

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Kansas
• Minimum of one year recent experience with IV compounding; some sterile compounding involvement required
• Familiarity with Meditech pharmacy software preferred but not mandatory
