For questions, contact Job Type: Contract (12 months) Location: Long Beach, California Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $45 - $60/hr No Visa Sponsorship Available for this role What You\"ll Do: Provide technical training support for the Structures team, demonstrating expertise across critical structural assembly and quality processes Deliver hands-on demonstrations of advanced manufacturing techniques, including precision drilling, trimming, fitting, clamping, mixing, and sealant/lubricant application Train team members on proper fastener selection, installation, torque application, and QA buy-off procedures Support the development and documentation of training materials for structural manufacturing processes What Gets You the Job: Proficiency in core structural manufacturing skills, including precision drilling, trimming, fitting, clamping, and proper mixing/application of aerospace sealants and lubricants Comprehensive knowledge of quality assurance processes, including QA buy-off procedures, deburring to specification, fastener types and installation, and torque application, verification, and documentation Demonstrated skill operating specialized manufacturing equipment and precision measuring tools, such as rivet guns, calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to clearly and safely demonstrate techniques and explain complex processes OpenKyber provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
