Job Description
Job Title: RN - Cardiac Telemetry

Schedule:
- Shift: Nights
- Patient Ratio: 1:5 (may take up to 6 patients)
- Weekends: Required as needed

Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year RN experience
- Valid RN license (OK or Compact) required at time of submission
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required at submission
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Proficient in managing non-titratable cardiac drips (Cardizem, Dobutamine, Milrinone, Amiodarone)
- Familiarity with diuretics, anticoagulants, inotropes, and rate-controlling agents
- Central and peripheral line care experience
- Participation in Rapid Response/Code teams is required
- Experience with EPIC charting preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Monitor telemetry and assess cardiac patients, providing appropriate care.
- Manage and administer cardiac medications as per protocols.
- Provide central and peripheral line care as needed.
- Participate in rapid response and code teams.
- Ensure accurate documentation in patient records.

Compliance / Notes:
- Required time off (RTO) must be listed at the time of submission.
- Orientation includes completion of RN modules (approximately 4-6 hours).
