JOB SUMMARY

AAA Allied Septic Service LLC in Santa Fe, New Mexico is seeking a highly skilled and reliable Septic Service Excavator/Installer to join our growing team. Specializing in trackhoe (CAT 304) operation, this role is crucial to our installation projects. Live at Home and Work Local: 99% of our projects are within the surrounding regional area (including Santa Fe, Los Alamos, and Pecos), ensuring you return home to your own bed every night. In the extremely rare event of a project requiring an overnight stay further north, we pay your drive time in company equipment, cover all lodging expenses, and provide an extra bonus.

Fully Supplied Equipment: The company provides all necessary work trucks, heavy machinery, and tools ensuring employees never have to put wear and tear on their personal vehicles or supply their own equipment.

Clock In at the Shop (No Unpaid Commutes): We don’t play the "you only get paid once you're on site" game. You clock in, take our truck, use our gas, and get paid for your drive time. We never make you drive your own vehicle to the job.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Trackhoe/Excavator Operations: Operates heavy machinery with precision to excavate for septic tanks, transport equipment to job sites, dig trenches, and prepare leach fields, maintaining strict awareness of underground utilities and safe digging practices.
• System Installation: Leads the layout and hands-on installation of modern septic systems, leach fields, and advanced treatment systems alongside the labor team.
• Site Grading & Elevation: Shoots grades and ensures exact elevations for proper system flow, followed by precise backfilling and final site recovery/grading.
• Equipment Maintenance: Conducts daily walk-arounds, routine greasing, and basic preventative maintenance to ensure company trackhoes and machinery remain in top working order

DETAILS

• Schedule: Full time position: 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M., Monday – Friday
• Daily Report Location: Your day starts and ends at our shop in Santa Fe. You clock in here in the morning, and you return here to clock out at the end of the shift.
• 90-Day Evaluation & Retention Bonus: You start at the full $27.00/hr from day one. The first 90 days are a strict performance and safety probation where we verify your operating skills, daily reliability, and your retention of the skills taught. Upon successful completion of this period and being retained as a permanent crew member, you will earn a $500 bonus.

REQUIREMENTS

• Equipment Experience: Proven experience operating trackhoes/excavators, specifically with precision trenching, grading, and excavation in tight residential or commercial spaces.
• Heavy Lifting: Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull between 50-75 pounds.
• Communication Skills: Strong English communication skills are required to effectively coordinate with team members on job sites and interact professionally with customers.
• Valid Driver's License
• Reliable Transportation: Reliable means of transportation to the office in Santa Fe.
• Drug-Free Workplace: Due to the operation of heavy machinery and active excavation sites, adherence to a strict drug-free workplace policy is required.
