Pipefitter - Sterling Heights, Michigan Contract Position - Day ShiftPay Rate: approximately $26.00 per hourThis role will be responsible for installing, modifying, and supporting the main header piping system.Description of the Pipefitter: The Pipefitter prepares, fabricates, installs, and fits pipe to specifications. Reads and interprets blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine piping requirements. Measures, cuts, threads, assembles, and installs piping systems. Ensures proper fitting and alignment of pipes and related components. Performs welding, soldering, and brazing as needed for secure connections. Conducts pressure tests and inspections to verify system integrity and safety.
