The organization is seeking two experienced registered nurse travelers to support a Rural Health Clinic outpatient care model. The Clinic RN will provide comprehensive nursing care, including patient triage, care coordination, patient education, medication management, chronic disease management, and clinical support services. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. Job Details Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10-hour day shifts (40 hours/week). Required Qualifications: Current Colorado RN license or active compact RN license in good standing; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; minimum two (2) years of recent clinical nursing experience; Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience required; strong assessment, triage, patient education, and care coordination skills; ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment. Preferred Qualifications: Previous Rural Health Clinic, family practice, internal medicine, or primary care experience; experience with immunizations, medication administration, and nursing triage; experience with Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA)-waived laboratory testing; experience supporting quality initiatives and patient engagement programs. Additional Information: Serves as a key team member collaborating with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, medical assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and support staff to provide high-quality outpatient care; administers medications, injections, immunizations, and other clinic-based treatments; performs point-of-care testing and CLIA-waived laboratory procedures; manages patient phone calls and portal messages using established protocols; completes accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record; provides clinical support and patient engagement; supports quality improvement initiatives; assists with coordinating care with providers, specialists, and ancillary departments.
