We are hiring a medical assistant to join our team at Restorative Pain Medicine. We are an outpatient medical office and take a comprehensive approach to treating patients with painful conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain vital signs
- Interview patients and obtain past medical histories
- Assist the doctors during procedures
- Receive patient phone calls and relay messages to the providers
- Assist in obtaining prior authorizations from insurance companies for our patient's medications and procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a medical assistant is preferred but willing to train a person who wants to learn
- Prior experience working with computers
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong customer service skills
