Civil Litigation Attorney

We are looking for a Civil Litigation Attorney to join a fast-moving legal team supporting complex business-related disputes from San Diego, California. This is a Long-term Contract opportunity suited to an attorney who enjoys substantive drafting work, steady case support, and close collaboration with colleagues in a fully remote setting. The role offers the chance to contribute meaningfully across an active litigation caseload while maintaining high standards for accuracy, responsiveness, and organization.Responsibilities:• Partner with lead counsel on business and tax controversy matters by providing day-to-day litigation support across multiple active cases.• Prepare, revise, and organize discovery materials, including written requests, responses, and other case-related documents needed throughout the litigation process.• Examine filings and other legal work product carefully to help strengthen quality, consistency, and overall case presentation.• Track court and case deadlines, maintain reliable calendaring, and help ensure timely completion of litigation tasks in a busy practice environment.• Conduct legal research and assist in drafting motions, pleadings, briefs, and related submissions as matters progress.• Coordinate with attorneys and team members to keep cases advancing efficiently while supporting evolving priorities during periods of heavy workload.• Contribute to overall case management by organizing materials, monitoring developments, and helping maintain momentum across a high-volume docket.
