Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and lead a variety of recreational activities, outings, and music programs tailored to residents' interests and abilities
• Foster a lively, inclusive, and engaging environment that encourages socialization and participation
• Assess residents' preferences and needs to develop personalized activity plans
• Collaborate with staff and family members to enhance residents' quality of life
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment during all activities
• Track and document residents' participation and progress in activities
• Stay informed about new activity ideas, trends, and best practices in senior recreation

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in recreational therapy, activities coordination, or a related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Creativity and enthusiasm to inspire and motivate seniors
• Ability to plan and execute diverse activities for a senior population
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
• Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in senior care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in recreational therapy or related field preferred
