Warehouse Operations Director

POSITION OVERVIEW The Director of Warehouse Operations reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for directing all warehouse operations, including inventory, shipping & receiving, and mailroom operations. This position also manages inventory across the company and oversees materials management, develops lean and innovative material management processes, and partners with Purchasing and Accounts Payable on procure‑to‑pay implementation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following duties may be assigned as necessary: Responsible for all warehouse operations. Execute operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and maintaining inventory accuracy. Ensure products and supply stocks are distributed and received efficiently, eliminating shortages and delays in preparation times. Implement best‑practice warehouse management design to optimize space via racking and other alternatives, maximizing labor productivity. Manage all warehouse par levels. Develop and manage quality improvement initiatives using KPIs. Partner with the F&B department, hotel department, and other relevant departments to coordinate warehouse activities. Control costs through personnel productivity, efficient utilization of storage space, and proper protection of stored materials. Lead projects and assess fulfillment results to improve warehouse practices. Design a warehouse operating model for both internal and external warehouse management. Maintain records of inventories and locations for production control and cost accounting. Document materials and supplies shipped. Manage all warehouse departmental expenses related to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Enforce company policies of conduct and safety. Identify causes of product losses and take corrective action. Determine work schedules and assign areas of responsibility to warehouse personnel. Promote a team environment and collaborate to achieve team goals. Temporary or permanent duties may be added or modified as necessary. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be at least 21 years of age. Reasonable accommodations may be made for disabilities. Bachelor’s Degree in business, supply chain, or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Four (4) or more years of experience in warehouse management roles, with an emphasis on F&B preferred. Prior experience working in a luxury property preferred. Working knowledge of financial and procurement systems (Stratton Warren, Redrock, Infor, COUPA, BirchStreet, Oracle). Strong practical experience and knowledge of supply chain operations within the hospitality/casino industry. Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills. Excellent written, verbal, and mathematical communication skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment and manage multiple priorities. Ability to delegate responsibility and authority to maximize team members’ skills. Ability to work in a team environment and drive change. Ability to operate a forklift. Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office. Strong leadership skills and the ability to organize effectively, delegate responsibility, solve problems quickly, and communicate clearly. Ability to provide leadership and direction, contributing to the organization’s success through engaging, developing, and mentoring individuals and teams. Strong business judgment, high personal motivation, and a strong work ethic. Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to stay calm under pressure. Demonstrated ability to maintain consistent, high‑quality service levels. Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position supervises members within the warehouse function, including warehouse operations, inventory control, and mailroom. PAY TRANSPARENCY Salary will be commensurate with experience and skill set, considering a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal equity and market data alignment. $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year #J-18808-Ljbffr
