Job Description As a pivotal member of our team, you will oversee the Quality System within our distribution center, ensuring compliance with drug, medical device, and local regulations. You will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing quality processes through effective procedures, training initiatives, and regular inspections. Key Responsibilities Ensure comprehensive training for all staff on their job functions, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Develop, write, and update Standard Operating Procedures as needed. Conduct regular facility inspections and maintain accurate records, providing detailed summaries and reports of your findings. Collaborate on corrective actions and preventative measures. Serve as a point of contact during client external audits, providing essential information and support. Coordinate with Health Canada officials for any regulatory audits. Address Customer/Client QA questions and concerns with expertise and professionalism. Monitor departmental processes and systems for regulatory compliance and efficiency. Investigate discrepancies and issues, reporting findings to the appropriate team members. Contribute to the development of strategies to preemptively address potential system or process challenges. Complete Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and change control requests, ensuring proper follow-up. Support ongoing maintenance, enhancements, and continuous improvement of Quality Systems. Assist with QPIC designation responsibilities. Qualifications Preferred experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or food industry. Quality Assurance experience is a plus. A Bachelor's Degree in a Science-related field or an internationally comparable degree is preferred. QPIC/AQPIC designation is advantageous. Employment Type Permanent position.
