We're looking for an experienced Operations Team Lead to oversee daily fulfillment operations at an innovative drone delivery site. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll lead a small team while actively supporting picking, packing, quality control, inventory management, and aircraft loading operations.

The ideal candidate has experience leading teams in a fast-paced warehouse, retail, logistics, or fulfillment environment and enjoys coaching others, improving processes, and ensuring safe, efficient operations.

responsibilities:

What You'll Do Team Leadership

• Lead and support daily warehouse and fulfillment operations
• Supervise, coach, and develop a small team of fulfillment associates
• Assist with scheduling, task assignments, and workflow management
• Serve as the primary onsite leader, resolving operational issues and keeping work moving efficiently
• Foster a positive, safety-first team culture

Fulfillment & Delivery Operations

• Oversee accurate order picking, packing, and quality control
• Verify package weights and order accuracy before shipment
• Supervise package loading onto delivery aircraft
• Monitor daily productivity and ensure operational goals are achieved
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow and efficiency

Site Operations

• Oversee daily site setup and operational readiness
• Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and safe
• Conduct daily inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy
• Perform equipment inspections and coordinate issue resolution
• Maintain compliance with company procedures and operational standards

Safety & Communication

• Lead daily safety practices and reinforce compliance with company policies
• Respond to operational incidents and assist with resolution
• Serve as the primary communication link between the site team and regional leadership
• Provide updates on site performance, operational metrics, and improvement opportunities

qualifications:
Qualifications

Required

2+ years of leadership experience in warehouse, fulfillment, logistics, retail, or operations

Experience supervising, coaching, or training team members

Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment

Strong commitment to workplace safety

Valid driver's license with the ability to travel between nearby operational sites

Ability to successfully pass a background check

Ability to complete required onsite training

Preferred

Experience with warehouse or supply chain operations

Familiarity with fulfillment performance metrics such as productivity, order accuracy, throughput, and inventory control

Experience improving operational processes or leading continuous improvement initiatives

Part 107 Drone Certification is not required.

Physical Requirements

Work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift

Lift up to 35 pounds

Push a loaded cart weighing up to 160 pounds up a ramp

Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday

Schedule

Availability is required between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM, seven days per week. Employees will work up to 40 hours per week, with schedules assigned based on operational needs. Flexibility is required.

Employment Details

Onsite position (remote work is not available)

One-year assignment with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs

W2 employment

Non-Exempt position with overtime paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate for hours worked over 40 per week
