About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President, Tax Insurance Broker to join their industry-leading team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting the tax insurance efforts across North America, with a focus on empowering results for clients. This role is pivotal in the facilitation of M&A transactions, tax credit investments, and corporate risk management. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, highly motivated, and have a strong background in U.S. federal income taxation, general U.S. tax law, and the tax ramifications of business transactions. While not a strict requirement, M&A-related and/or tax litigation experience is considered a benefit. The SVP, Tax Insurance Broker will be responsible for structuring and placing tax insurance programs, supporting production efforts, and promoting the tax insurance team at important industry conferences. Candidates for this position should be mid-level to senior tax lawyers with at least 5 years' of relevant work experience, including a proven ability to develop tax-related business and prior experience with tax insurance. A good network among the legal and business community, excellent communication skills, and a high level of self-direction are essential. The role requires a professional with significant expertise, an established network, and client-facing experience in delivering tax-related services. The position is at the SVP level and may involve travel to support sales efforts and visit clients. The successful candidate will work closely with the existing tax team members and will be expected to contribute to the growth of the business in this fast-growing and in-demand sector.
