Math Teacher

*SUMMARY: *

Notre Dame Jr/Sr High School is seeking a dynamic and passionate Math Teacher to join our dedicated faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a range of high school math courses, fostering students' mathematical understanding and appreciation. This position requires a strong commitment to the integration of faith and values into the curriculum and classroom environment.

*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*

· Develop and implement engaging and rigorous math curricula aligned with state standards and the school's mission.

· Create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student growth and development.

· Use effective teaching methods and strategies to differentiate instruction and meet the diverse needs of all learners.

· Assess student learning through a variety of methods, including formative and summative assessments, projects, and presentations.

· Provide regular and constructive feedback to students and parents regarding academic progress.

· Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student success.

· Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current in math education pedagogy and content.

· Integrate Catholic values and teachings into the curriculum and classroom environment, demonstrating a commitment to the school's mission.

· Contribute to the mathematics department and the broader school community.

*QUALIFICATIONS: *

· Bachelor's degree in Mathematics (Master's preferred).

· Valid teaching certification in Mathematics preferred.

· Experience teaching high school mathematics.

· Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and pedagogy.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to create engaging and motivating learning experiences.

· Commitment to student well-being and character development.

· Understanding and appreciation of Catholic values and beliefs.

Pay: $35,700.00 - $42,000.00 per year
