Essential Responsibilities Responsible for the fabrication and joining of metal parts in an aerospace environment using Tig/Mig welding techniques. Create quality welds according to provided routers. Ensure all equipment is properly set up & used in safe manner and that all safety devices are in use. Diagnose & troubleshoot equipment that affects quality, productivity, or safety. Inspect and identify weld imperfections. Identify weld wire and electrode identifiers. Read, evaluate, and respond to product specifications and drawings. Adhere to standards and procedures regarding traceability. Ability to read and understand instructions for quality and safety. Qualifications and Experience High School degree or equivalent 1-year professional work experience and/or training Proficiency in understanding and recognizing weld symbols with basic understanding of welding terminology Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. AWS D17.1 qualified on one or two basic materials (e.g., stainless or aluminum). Can perform tack welds and basic fusion welds under supervision.
