Local Delivery Driver (Class A w/Hazmat)

R10094588 Local Delivery Driver (Class A w/Hazmat) (Open) Location : Corpus Christi, TX – Agnes – Retail Shop Pay & Schedule : $25 per hour, Monday – Friday, Day Shift. Quarterly bonus potential. Key Responsibilities : Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to external and internal customer locations. Accurately record deliveries and pick‑ups on a load manifest, obtain customer signatures, and collect empty, rejected, or unsold cylinders for return to a plant or branch. Adhere to Airgas safety standards (SAFECOR) and all applicable regulations (DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, OSHA). Provide assistance in the warehouse or on the dock as needed. Qualifications : Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License. Valid Medical Examiner’s Card. Hazmat Endorsement and Airbrake certification. One year of prior Class B professional driving experience within the last five (5) years and a clean driving record (no more than two convictions, or two at‑fault accidents in the last three years; or a combination of one conviction and one at‑fault accident in the last three years). Alternatively, a diploma from an accredited driving school within the last 12 months and at least one year of prior driving experience within the last five (5) years. Minimum age 21 years. Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets. Ability to routinely lift 25–75 lbs and occasionally lift 76–125 lbs with material handling equipment. Forklift operator certification required. Willingness to work occasional overtime if necessary. Benefits : Medical, dental, and vision plans.
