Sodexo’s Universities Segment is seeking a dynamic Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition and wellness support at Alfred University in Alfred, New York . This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student health and wellness while collaborating directly with chefs on menu development and nutrition education. What You'll Do Provide nutrition support through collaboration with executive leadership, operations, marketing, and university health centers. Provide oversight of our special dining programs, including My Zone, Simple Servings, Simply3, Mindful, and Vegan offerings by conducting regular dining services audits and training managers and culinary teams to ensure program excellence. Serve as a campus liaison between students and dining services to accommodate students' dietary needs and adapt offerings to reflect emerging trends in nutrition. Establish and/or implement standards for client satisfaction and monitor performance against those standards. What We Offer 3 weeks' vacation and 3 personal days Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees, and CDR renewal Money toward continuing education events Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually Medical, Dental, Vision Care and Wellness Programs 401(k) Plan with Matching Contributions Paid Time Off and Company Holidays Career Growth Opportunities and Tuition Reimbursement What You Bring Registered Dietitian credentialed with CDR and CDN in NY Expertise on dietary preferences and allergies to guide nutritional choices accordingly Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels Ability to effectively engage, motivate and influence others regarding their nutrition Strong presentation skills Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to the changing needs of the role Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by ACEND Credentials Requirement: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by CDR and will become registered within 120 days of hire. Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice may be required at the time of hire.
