Join us and be part of a mission to power a greener, more sustainable future.How You'll Make an ImpactPerform technical analysis, design, development, testing, installation, and service.Work from instructions, drawings, proposals, and specifications.Prepare specifications and related documents per requirements.Review and analyze engineering data, documents, and reports.Consult with other engineering groups to ensure suitability of engineering criteria.Investigate technical problems and establish corrective actions.Allocate time to customer-focused activities, product care, and operational troubleshooting.Assist in preparing specifications, selecting materials, drafting proposals, and preparing licensing and safety documents.Develop 2-D and 3-D models using advanced CAD software (AutoCAD and CREO Parametric).Learn and apply basic numerical tolerance calculations and stack-up analysis.Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.Your BackgroundBachelor’s degree in electrical, electromechanical, or mechanical engineering or a related field, with 3 to 7 years of experience.Experience with Pro-E or any 3D CAD modeling software is highly desired but not required.Experience with Windchill data management or any PLM software is highly desired but not required.Preferably, some experience designing or developing electromechanical products, mainly transformer components, is highly desired but not required.Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.More About UsHitachi Energy is dedicated to innovation and sustainability, offering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.We provide opportunities for professional growth and development, empowering you to reach your full potential.Join us and be part of a team that is committed to making a positive impact on the world through advanced energy solutions.Equal Employment Opportunity(EEO)-Females/Minorities/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesProtected veterans and qualified individuals with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access the Hitachi Energy career site as a result of your disability.
