Two years of experience in a similar setting is required. Candidates must have completed at least one travel assignment. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse working in a Progressive Care Unit and Intensive Care Unit. The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts with rotating days and nights. Every other weekend is required, including six weekend shifts within a six-week period. ICU experience is essential. The traveler will float between units as needed. Patient ratios are typically four patients per nurse during day and night shifts. The unit focuses on diverse patient diagnoses, including cardiac, neuro, and respiratory issues. Interdisciplinary support services are available, including physical therapy and pharmacy. Special equipment includes ventilators and non-titratable IV drips. Candidates must have experience managing a variety of medical procedures and equipment. Strong communication and critical thinking skills are crucial for this role.
