Responsibilities Process customer transactions including: Chip purchases and redemptions Check cashing Marker issuance and redemption Front money and safekeeping issuance/redemption Coupon redemption Cash back redemption Credit card cash advances Handle monetary transactions with all interdepartmental personnel. Issue and accept bank returns for all casino departments. Exchange currency and coin for all departments. Cash out cocktail and valet employee tips. Sell and redeem gaming chips for guests. Redeem coupons for gaming guests. Issue and redeem cage and pit markers for credit patrons. Process personal checks for gaming guests. Process cash advance checks and cash back vouchers. Process slot jackpot payouts and taxable jackpot documentation. Process table game chip fills and credits. Ensure compliance with Michigan Gaming Regulations. Securely document and maintain records of all reportable transactions involving company assets. Balance departmental paperwork and reconcile transactions. Maintain accuracy and efficiency in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. Deliver excellent customer service with a professional demeanor. Perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of and ability to comply with state, federal, company, and departmental rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English. Ability to efficiently operate adding machines, Jet Sort equipment, and computer systems. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
