PATIENT INFORMATION

• Patient Demographics: Premature and critically ill newborns

• Patient Volume/Census: Over 450 annual NICU admissions with average daily census of 30

• Admissions: Yes

• Rounding: Included

• Phone Consults: As Needed

• Case Mix: High-acuity neonatal intensive care and advanced neonatal therapies

FACILITY INFORMATION

• Primary NICU: 49-bed Level IIIB NICU

• Additional Coverage: 15-bed Level IIIA NICU, growing Level II NICU, and Well-Baby Units

• Team includes Board-Certified Neonatologists and 24/7 Neonatal Nurse Practitioner support

• Telehealth-supported neonatal coverage model

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

• Inhaled nitric oxide (iNO)

• High-frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV)

• High-frequency jet ventilation (HFJV)

• Therapeutic hypothermia

• Management of ELGAN infants including 22-week gestation neonates

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Active MO Medical License

• BC/BE in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine required

• DEA

• Clean Record (highly preferred)

• Most recent NPDB Self-Query Report (within 30 days)

• Must have experience
