SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN)

Information Technology Specialist Duties
Performs as an expert Information Technology (IT) Specialist working in a number of specialty areas to include policy and planning, security, systems analysis, applications software, operating systems, network services, and data management.
Performs the full range of activities relating to IT project management to include in-garrison support, trip site support, and continuity of operations locations.
Performs strategic planning, capital planning and investment control; resource management; architecture and infrastructure planning and management; technology insertion/modernization.
Serves as an expert advisor on policy development, coordination, and implementation.
Performs work involving the planning, installation, configuration, testing, implementation, and management of the WHMO Command and Control Network.
Performs first-line supervisory duties: plans, prioritizes, and schedules work. Assigns tasks based on organizational priorities. Addresses and deconflicts subordinate performance concerns.
