Job Description
Title: Nurse - Stepdown Float

Schedule: Shift: 1900-0730

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience
- Vasoactive drip titration experience
- Line management skills: IV insertion, PICC/central line management, vascular device access/care, dialysis fistula care/management, a-line management
- Airway management skills: CPAP/BiPAP and trach care
- Ortho/MS/Onc skills: Epidural/PCA pumps, feeding tubes, wound vac

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in stepdown settings.
- Monitor patients and communicate changes in their condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with the medical team to plan and modify patient care.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and care plans.

Compliance / Notes:
- The facility can downstaff travelers 36/48 hours based on the weekly schedule.
