Registered Nurse CVICU

Job Summary:
Provide specialized critical care nursing to cardiac ICU patients, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and safety. Deliver direct patient care, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with healthcare teams to administer treatments.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, ventilator support, and invasive procedures such as central line placement and intubation.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and adjust interventions accordingly.
• Document patient progress and treatments accurately in the EPIC system.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams on treatment plans.
• Maintain compliance with infection control protocols and certifications.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Utah RN license at the time of submission.
• Have at least 2 years of recent ICU experience, preferably in a cardiac or CVICU setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency with ventilators, vasopressors, arterial lines, and other ICU procedures.
• Possess current ACLS certification.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills and a team-oriented personality.
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and on-call as required.
