General Manager

When you join Victra, you become a general manager in the largest Verizon authorized retailer in the United States. Your role shapes the guest experience and drives the team to exceed sales targets while maintaining operational excellence. Responsibilities Build, develop, and mentor the sales team. Coach teams through the sales process and ensure every guest interaction aligns with company standards. Attract and retain top caliber employees. Advocate for the brand within the store. Provide ongoing sales training and support to exceed sales, retention, quality, and service objectives. Engage in sales strategy development to showcase products and services effectively throughout the store. Ensure employees meet or exceed defined monthly success measurements and complete assigned training on time. Develop and implement sales tools and initiatives. Maintain store performance by running retail inventory compliance. Engage in business operations including budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting. Innovate ways to drive store traffic and capitalize on the existing customer base. Own store success, manage staff needs, staffing and scheduling, labor controls, marketing, loss prevention, and other store functions. Own all guest escalations and provide timely resolutions. Communicate company objectives and priorities to team members and provide timely follow-up. Stay updated on new sales promotions and ensure guests receive a complete solution for current and future needs. What We Are Looking For 1–3 years of retail sales experience, 2 years in a leadership/supervisory role. Management experience in a commissions‑based sales environment. Proven track record of achieving challenging team and individual sales goals. Ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Experience setting goals, evaluating performance, and building high‑performing teams. Basic interview skills and staffing knowledge. High school diploma or GED. One or more years of customer service experience, preferably in retail or sales. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and during peak vacation periods (November–December). Minimum age 18. Legally authorized to work in the United States. Compensation Pay includes a base rate of $22.90 per hour with uncapped earning potential through commission. Physical Requirements Ability to lift ten pounds. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Training Requirements All General Managers must attend and complete a 4‑day New Hire University (NHU) training program within 30 days of the official start date, followed by a 3‑day General Manager University (SMU) program within 30 days of completing NHU. Additional online and computer‑based training will be required throughout employment.
