Toro Park Animal Hospital is hiring a part-time or full-time Veterinarian to join our team! What to Expect Competitive Compensation: Base salary of $150,000-$175,000, plus production bonus, negotiable based on experience and part-time/full-time schedule. Sign-On Bonus & Relocation Assistance Flexible Schedule: Part-time and full-time options available. Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday: 7:30 AM-5:00 PM; Saturday: 9:00 AM-3:00 PM; Sunday: Closed. A member of our team, you can expect to be supported in your work and personal life with: A schedule that respects your time: Our flexible scheduling prioritizes your work-life balance- no late nights or on-call duties required. Appointment-based (30 minutes); the last appointment is at 4:30 pm. 2-2.5 tech-to-doctor ratio: highly trained and utilized (average tenure on the team is 4+ years). As a child, she brought her pets to Toro Park Animal Hospital. She earned her Bachelor's of Science from UC Davis, where she also worked in the Large Animal ICU. She graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 and has practiced on the Monterey Peninsula since. Her clinical interests include acupuncture, rehabilitation, dermatology, dentistry, and nutritional management. Outside of work, Dr. Rockwood enjoys hiking, traveling, and snowboarding with her son. Their fur family includes a playful Golden Retriever, a spunky Chihuahua mix, and a cat who keeps up with the dogs.
