Monday through Friday 8:30AM – 5:00PM. No weekends or holidays. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.\n \n Pay:\n \n This position may be eligible for a $2,500 sign-on bonus.\n Additional components of compensation may include:\n \n Evening and night shift differential\n \n \n \n \n Be part of something remarkable\n \n Bring your laboratory experience to UW Health.\n \n We are seeking a Specimen Control and Receiving Tech – Cytology to:\n \n Receive specimens and research kits into the laboratory, check for correct labeling, enter tests into Laboratory Information System, process specimens, and load them onto instruments or direct to appropriate work station, technologist, or storage area.\n Basic instrument maintenance (temperatures, monitoring reagents) and clerical duties (filing, mailing, faxing).\n Interact daily with pathologists, physicians, technologists, clinical staff, nursing unit personnel, and patients.\n \n \n At UW Health, you will have:\n \n An excellent benefits package, including health and dental insurance, paid time off, retirement plans, two-week paid parental leave and adoption assistance.
