CLINIC HOURS:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm
- Saturday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
- Sunday, closed

FULL-TIME COMPENSATION:
- $215,000 to $265,000 Base Salary, depending on experience

LOCATION: 
Grand Junction, Colorado

COMPANY PROFILE: 
This community health center first opened in 1999 and has evolved, grown, and responded to the local community’s needs over the last 27 years.  Today, they operate 2 clinic locations, as well as additional service centers, in Grand Junction.  They boast a clinical staff of 5 physicians and 10 advanced practice providers, who serve patients along with psychiatric providers, behavioral health specialists, dental clinicians, and more.  They are currently seeking a new physician due to growth.  

POSITION DESCRIPTION: 
The physician provides comprehensive primary care medical services for an under-served patient demographic of all ages.  This includes general and preventive care, with the exclusion of OB services, which the practice does not offer.

Specific duties of the role include, but are not limited to:

- primary care to patients of all ages
- preventive care
- office-based procedures
- manage chronic health problems
- act as medical provider for complex cases in order to support APP staff
- delegate patients appropriately to APP staff
- perform or request special screenings / developmental tests and interpret results
- make referrals to other physicians and allied healthcare professionals as needed

Physicians see an average of 17 to 19 patients per day, with the support of dedicated clinical assistants.  The clinic schedules 3 medical assistants per 2 providers.

The office has behavioral health and dental providers on-site, with patient navigators to assist with any needs that arise.

 
The practice uses the Epic EHR.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Colorado medical license
- DEA
- Board Certified or Eligible, Family Medicine
- broad skill set with outpatient primary care procedures
