Registered Nurse - MedSurg Telemetry

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00), weekdays, every other weekend, with the potential to float.

Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse in the MedSurg Telemetry unit, providing care for patients with a variety of medical conditions including cardiac, vascular, surgical, and pulmonary issues, along with telemetry monitoring. This position requires expertise in managing complex patient care needs and working collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and telemetry readings.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning.
• Float to other areas within the scope of practice when necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of registered nursing experience required.
• 1 year of in-specialty experience in MedSurg or Telemetry preferred.
• Current West Virginia or Compact RN license required.
• BLS/BCLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• Previous experience with Cerner charting system preferred.
