Department: School of Applied Sciences Job Summary: Performs technical work in the support of the marketing team. Job Description: Drafts meeting notes and prepares materials including updated project benchmarks and research information to support marketing projects, campaigns, and work unit personnel. Summarizes market tracking and research data from distributed market surveys. Assists in developing creative marketing strategies and multimedia campaigns by creating and distributing draft materials to a variety of project participants. Ensures promotional materials are maintained. Modifies materials as directed by professional staff. Schedules meetings of project stakeholders, including external vendors as required to maintain project timelines and responds to initial questions. Job Responsibilities: The Marketing Specialist will assist with core operational and executional responsibilities, including but not limited to: Weekly website updates and content management Social media management across 7–10 active accounts Photo and video coordination and production support Development and distribution of school-wide communications Marketing and communications efforts within the School of Applied Sciences support a broad and diverse set of audiences, including: Current students (school and department level) Prospective students Alumni Parents and families Faculty and staff Donors and external partners The addition of a full-time Marketing Specialist will strengthen the school’s ability to engage these audiences consistently and effectively, while creating a more sustainable and scalable marketing team structure aligned with the school’s growth and strategic priorities. Preferred Experience: 3 years in Marketing or related field.
