redbox+ of St. Louis, Metro East is currently in search for a reliable part time Delivery Driver to join our team! If you are looking to join a dynamic team, where you wear multiple hats and work with the owner of this unique service provided to general contractors, roofers, builders and remodeling firms and enjoy providing extraordinary service, this is the right fit for you! Get in on the ground floor of a fledgling company where you can grow with the company! This part time position will have the opportunity to take on a full-time role if desired as we grow next spring.

redbox+ of St. Louis, Metro East is not a typical waste service. We hold a patented design for a combination portable toilet and dumpster, making our containers the most efficient and innovative in the market. We are a boutique company - small, family owned and exist to offer exceptional service to our customers. We are looking for a friendly, respectful, timely and safe driver to join our team.

The best fit for this role will happily maintain close relationships with project managers, respect homeowners and their property, safely operate a new F-550, manage time appropriately, love logistics, and doesn’t mind getting a little dirty.

Duties

• Deliver Roll-Off dumpsters to customer job-sites safely
• Provide excellent customer service to customers and homeowners
• Speak with customers and homeowners to ensure satisfaction
• Maintain relationships with project managers
• Perform Safety Pre-Trip inspections according to DOT guidelines
• Empty containers at disposal sites
• Tarp containers during transports
• Lift heavy items into and out of dumpster

Skills

• Excellent time management skills to ensure delivery and pickups are always on time
• Ability to route deliveries and stops
• Ability to sell the brand and answer customer questions
• Safely operate vehicle in all weather conditions
• Navigate high traffic roads, driveways, tight overhead environments
• Highly skilled backing and maneuvering
• Professional and personable interactions with customers to sell the brand
• Maintain professional and courteous behavior to all members of public

Experience

• Commercial driving: 1 year (Preferred)

Qualifications

• Must have your driver’s license longer than 7 years
• Must provide current vehicle driver’s license and access to driving record
• Good driving record (MVR – Required)
• Valid/Current Class B CDL (preferred) or ability to obtain Class B CDL (will train the right candidate!)
• Pass a background check
• Pass drug tests before and during employment
• Legally able to work in the US
• Familiarity of St. Louis Metro area

Physical Demand

• Ability to sit for extended periods while operating a commercial vehicle.
• Ability to climb in and out of truck cabs multiple times per shift.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and twist as required for securing loads and servicing equipment.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull equipment and materials weighing up to approximately 75 pounds.
• Ability to tolerate exposure to odors, wastewater, and waste materials.
• Ability to work safely in high-traffic and construction environments.
