Mental Health Worker

Northwell Health seeks a Mental Health Worker to support patients in our behavioral health settings. In this role, you will provide direct observation, de‑escalation, and daily living support for individuals experiencing psychiatric or emotional crises. Working alongside nurses, social workers, and physicians, you will help implement care plans, lead or assist with therapeutic groups, and maintain a safe, trauma‑informed environment. You will document patient behaviors, participate in safety checks, and respond to emergencies using approved crisis‑intervention techniques.
